S.P.Sailaja or SriPathi Panditaradhyula Sailaja was born on the 22 of July in the year 1953; a versatile singer and was sought after by many musicians in the early 80s and late 90s. Sailaja was born on the 22 of July in the year 1953 to an orthodox Hindu Saivite family in Konetammapeta in the Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh. It was finally her destiny along with hard work and interest towards singing that made her to take it as a career. Apart from taking singing as her career, she somehow managed to convince her family to take acting as her profession too. Ultimately, she succeeded in both her passions in the cine field with singing and acting simultaneously. Her father was S.P.Sambamurthy, who was a well known exponent of Hari Katha. Her elder brother, S.P.Balasubramanian is a renowned and a prolific play back singer in the whole of the Indian cine industry; he has sung many songs in all the south Indian languages like Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and many songs in Hindi (Bollywood) as well. It was in the year 1978; Sailaja took up her career as a professional play back singer. It was no wonder that she bought laurels for her voice was best suited for high octet songs that were quite unreliable when it was given a chance for other singers in the late 70s.
Sailaja’s first song was recorded for Illayaraja. At first Sailaja approached Illaiyaraaja to show her interest towards singing. This made Raaja let her sing a couple of lines and which rather impressed him. Raaja gave her a chance to sing for the song “Solai Kuyile” which when released turned out to be a big hit. This was indeed a tedious song to sing as it had only high octets and pitches to be dealt with; but Sailaja blowed out with a first taking making everyone’s eye on her for she sang the song with least ease. Krishna is born as Ghattamaneni Sivarama Krishna Murthy on 31st May, 1943 at Burripalem of Tenali Dist, AP. She was nominated to be an MP in Rajyasabha by TDP party. Due to her differences with party Supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu, she switched over to Samajwadi Party and contested elections from Rampur parliamentary Constituency in UP, during the last General elections, in 2004. She even owns the Jaya Prada Theater in Chennai.
 
Personal Life
 
Jaya Pradha created much controversy in 1986, when she married film producer Srikanth Nahata, who was already married to Chandra and had three children. Srikanth did not divorce his first wife even after marrying Prada. The couple does not have any children, though Jaya Prada wishes to the contrary. She even announced that as Srikanth’s first wife and she cannot live without him, they have mutually agreed to share him together.

Jayasudha is a very famous South Indian actress who has mostly acted in Telugu movies. This actress is now an MLA for the Congress in Secunderabad.

PERSONAL

Jayasudha was born on December 17th 1958 at Madras, Tamil Nadu to a Telugu family. She was named as Sujatha. The famous actress and director Vijaya Nirmala is her aunt. Her sister Subhashini is also an actress, seen mostly in supporting roles.

She married Dr.Rajendra Prasad of Vijayawada. Their marriage ended up in a divorce after a few years. Jayasudha is now married to actor Jeetendra's cousin Nitin Kapoor. They have two children, Nihar and Sreyanth. Actress Jayaprada, Radhika and Revathi are her friends.


PROFESSIONAL

Jayasudha was born as Sujatha to a Telugu speaking Brahmin family in Madras, Tamil Nadu on 17 December 1958. Her aunt is the famous actress and director Vijaya Nirmala. Jayasudha made her film debut when she was twelve years old as Jamuna's daughter in the Telugu film Panduntikaapuram. Her next break came in two Tamil films directed by the celebrated director K. Balachander: Arangettram and Apoorva Raagangal. The latter became a big hit. Her fame quickly spread, where Telugu film producers were offering her good film roles. While her debut role as heroine in the Telugu film Lakshmana Rekha (1975) got her attention, it was really the title role in Jyothi (1976 film) (remake of the Hindi film Mili starring Jaya Bhaduri) that made her a huge star in Telugu films. She was now called a successor to the great Telugu actress Savitri and performed many strong roles and showed excellent range.


She is given the title "Sahaja Nati" which means "spontaneous/lively actress." Her roles varied from the cute looking teeny bopper who wore minis in Nomu (1974) to the battered wife of a sadist husband(Chiranjeevi) in Idi Katha Kaadu, to that of a comedienne who discovers that her husband wants to murder her for her wealth in "Money." She performed showy roles in Telugu remakes of Hindi films, such as Yugandhar (1979) (the fighter role that Zeenat Aman originated in Don (1978 film)), Illalu (1981) (Reena Roy's dark-shaded role from Apnapan (1977)), etc. In commercial cinema, she received a huge break when she starred in Adavi Ramudu (1977), which broke box office records.


She acted in 225 Telugu films, and in one year, she had 24 film releases. She accomplished all this, despite her illiteracy in Telugu, by having people read lines to her and she would remember and deliver her lines.


She became such a famous actress that she starred in a film Jayasudha (1982), named after her. Her fame also allowed producers to cast her sister Subhashini in supporting roles in some of the films that she starred in, such as Sivaranjani (1978), "Doctor Cine-actor" and Meghasandesam (1983). Subhashini's daughter Pooja is now a budding actress.


She joined recently in Congress Party and became as MLA.


Jayasudha is a granddaughter of eminent scholar and literary historian, Nidudavolu Venkatarao.


Jayasudha married producer Nitin Kapoor, cousin to actor Jeetendra. They married in 1985 and have two children, Sons Nihar (born in 1986) and Shreayan (born in 1990).

Jamuna born in 30 August 1936 in Hampi, Karnataka is a veteran Telugu actress, a director and a politician. Her Father Nidamaru, Guntur Nippani Srinivas Rao, a business man, and mother Kausalya Devi, Kannada Brahmin family. She grew up in Duggirala, Guntur District in Andhra Pradesh state, India.
Jamuna was born in to Nimpani Srinivas Rao, a businessman, and Kausalya Devi, in a Kannada Brahmin family. She grew up in Duggirala, Guntur District in Andhra Pradesh state, India.
Jamuna was a stage artist in school. Her mother taught her vocal music and harmonium. Dr. Rajarao watched her stage show Maa Bhoomi and gave her offer to act in his movie Puttillu in 1952.She acted in 198 films in Telugu and other south Indian languages. Vanisri or Ratna Kumari (born 3 August 1948) Nell ore, also known as Vanisree or Vanishree, is a popular Telugu actress in the mid 1960s to the late 1970s. Her portfolio also includes Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam films.Vanisri was a top Telugu film heroine from the late 1960s to 1970s. Actor S V Ranga Rao gave her screen name Vanisri.

Vanisri first film was Marapurani Kadha. She gained attention with a supporting role in the sister role in Sukha Dukhalu, where the famous song “idi mallela velayani” was picturized on her. She became a heroine and held the top spot through most of the 1970s until newer heroines Sridevi and Jayaprada took over in the late 1970s.

Vanisri left to get married and have a son and a daughter, who is now a doctor.
Established a school, where 400 students have passed and have gone on to become doctors and engineers. She also planned to construct an old age home for senior citizens in the Telugu film industry called Adharana and own a mobile theatre to spot talent from various places in Andhra Pradesh. She is also involved in politics.

Vanisri says whatever a person learns before turning 27, stays with him till his death helping him to sustain his living. I want to provide a platform for those budding youngsters. The industry has given me so much; I want to do something for it. Vanisri has acted in television serials as well.

Biography of Mahanati Savitri

Nadigaiyar Thilakam, Mahanati, Savitri Gemini Ganesan was born on 6th December 1937 in Chirravur a small town near Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. She was the only daughter of Nissankaram - Subhadram couple. She lost her father when she was six years old. She studied till 3rd form (VIII standard) in Kasthuri Bai Memorial School, Vijayawada with her uncle’s support. She learnt dance and music from Sista Purnayya Sastri during her school days. She discontinued her studies and worked in a theatre company run by Nandamni Taraka Rao. She gave stage performances as a child in Vijayawada. She also acted in a play at Mavanchana by Buchi Babu. Later she started her own troupe called Nava Bharata Natya Mandali. She married actor late Shri Gemini Ganesan in 1956. He married her as his third wife. She has two children, daughter Vijaya Chamundeswari and a son Sathishkumar.


She got an offer in the Telugu film Agni Pariksha when she was 12 years old. She merely missed the chance because she looked too young to play the role in that particular film. She did a small role with Actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao in the Telugu film Samsaram through Producer L.V.Prasad. Her inborn talents were recognized through this film. Soon she caught her chances to act in her subsequent Telugu films Sankranthi, Pallethru, etc. She performed a dance number in the legendary film Pathala Bhairavi in 1951. Her big break came through Pelli Chesi Choodu in 1958 in which she played her first lead role. She established her acting credentials in film Ardhangi. She acted along with Akkineni Nageswara Rao in Devadas, which gave her an unreachable star image. Her versatile acting won her the Title Mahanati (Great Actress) in Tollywood film Industry.

Suman is a South Indian film actor. He played action hero and romantic hero in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films during the 1980s. Suman started his film career as a police officer in Tamil movie Neechal Kulam (1977) produced by T.R.Rammanna.Then he gave a power packed performance in the remake of classic Hindi movie Deewar made into Tamil as Thee(1981),he played a sincere police officer with the upcoming superstar rajinikanth. In more than 3 decades, he acted more than 150 films as a hero in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and English language films. Allu Rama Lingaiah (1 October 1922 – 31 July 2004), commonly known as Allu, was an Indian Telugu language comedic actor from Palakollou, India who appeared in over one thousand Tollywood films.

Film Career
Rama Lingaiah began his film career in 1953 with Puttillu and finished his last film Jai in the year before his death. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 1990 by the Government of India, and received the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award in 2001.
Rama Lingaiah played memorable roles in classics like Mayabazar (as one of the Sarma-Sastry duo), MissammaMuthyala Muggu (where he played as a monkey-bitten man, imitating the monkey), Sankarabharanam (his speech preceding the song “Dorakunaa Ituvanti Seva” commenting on the downfall of modern-day music, and the scene where he admonishes Somayajulu), SaptapadiYamagola (“Taalamu vesitini, gollemu marachitini!”), and numerous movies of the 80s, where he played a soft and unhated villain with the likes of Raogopal Raoand Nagabhushanam. Telugu film industry in its early days worked out of Madras (now, Chennai) in Tamil Nadu.
